Real People, Real Solutions

We started lythenovaris because too many Australians were struggling with money stress that could be avoided. No fancy jargon, no impossible promises — just practical budget planning that actually works in real life.

How We Got Started

Back in 2018, I was sitting across from yet another client who felt completely overwhelmed by their finances. Sarah, a teacher from Brisbane, had three different budgeting apps on her phone but still couldn't figure out why she was always short on rent money.

That conversation changed everything. We realised that most financial education was either too academic or too simplified. People needed something in between — practical guidance that respected their intelligence but didn't require a finance degree.

So we built lythenovaris around real conversations with real people facing actual money challenges. Every workshop, every resource, every piece of advice comes from years of sitting down with Australians from all walks of life.

What Drives Us Forward

These aren't just nice words on a wall. They're the principles that guide every decision we make.

Honest Conversations

We talk about money the way real people do — with all the messy emotions, unexpected challenges, and genuine concerns that come with managing finances in today's world.

Practical First

Every strategy we teach has been tested by real families with real budgets. If it doesn't work in practice, we don't teach it. Simple as that.

No Judgment Zone

Whether you're drowning in debt or just want to optimise your savings, everyone deserves support without shame or condescension.

Long-term Thinking

Quick fixes don't create lasting change. We focus on building habits and understanding that serve you for decades, not just until next payday.

Our Teaching Philosophy

Start Where You Are

We don't assume everyone starts from the same place. Your current situation, whatever it looks like, becomes the foundation for building something better.

Build One Habit at a Time

Massive changes rarely stick. We help you identify the one financial habit that will make the biggest difference, then build from there once it feels natural.

Plan for Real Life

Budgets that only work when everything goes perfectly aren't real budgets. We design systems that account for unexpected expenses, irregular income, and human nature.

Measure What Matters

Progress isn't always about the numbers in your bank account. Sometimes it's about sleeping better at night or feeling confident about a financial decision.
